Kearney-On Thursday night during the annual Loper football backers event a scholarship was given out to an offensive and defensive player for UNK. Isaac Herbeck of Grand Island was awarded the offensive scholarship while defensive end Caleb Kincaid of North Platte won the defensive scholarship. Kincaid spoke with KRVN’s Jayson Jorgensen about his special night.
Kincaid is a redshirt sophomore for the Lopers who had a 4.0 GPA as a political science major as a freshman. At North Platte, he finished his career with 27.5 sacks. The Lopers will wrap up spring ball with their annual spring game at 1pm on Saturday.
