A high school senior from Breda was among twenty students who received an award from the Dupaco Foundation’s renewable college scholarship program.
Kuemper Catholic High School student Kyla Wiskus was awarded one of the $2,000 scholarships.
According to a news release from Dupaco Community Credit Union, ten $2,000 scholarships were awarded for high school seniors who will attend community colleges/trade schools. These scholarships will be distributed in annual increments of $1,000 over two years.
Additionally, ten $4,000 scholarships were awarded for high school seniors who will attend four-year colleges or universities.
In the news release, Dupaco Foundation board member Bob Hoefer said, “We believe in the transformative power of education, and these scholarships are one way we can invest in the bright futures of these deserving students by helping make their dream of attending college a reality.”
