Labatt 4-H held the final meeting of the year on May 6. During this meeting, the club elected new officers for the 2025-26 year and the club president, Nicole Lee, presented scholarships to the club’s four graduating seniors. Club members had the opportunity to share results of Spring contest and plans for the summer.
This year the club participated in many different community service opportunities including offering sweets and snacks for the senior center, CAST, and ThriveWell; donating socks for patients; collecting canned foods for the local food bank; giving Christmas cards to veterans; collecting glasses for Lion’s Club; and giving Valentine’s Day cards to seniors.
Members were reminded that they had to submit record books on June 10. After the meeting, club members and their families enjoyed a pizza party and time with each other.
