Mountain Gateway Community College (MGCC) is now enrolling students for late start classes beginning March 17.
These flexible courses are designed to meet the needs of a variety of learners, including high school students, working adults, and busy parents looking to advance their careers or continue their education.
MGCC offers a wide selection of in-person, online and hybrid courses that can fit into any schedule, with an eight-week term running through May 8.
“Whether you’re just starting your academic journey at MGCC, seeking new job skills, or juggling family and work responsibilities, these flexible learning options make it easier than ever to achieve your academic and career goals,” said a spokeswoman.
In addition to enrolling in classes, all prospective students are encouraged to apply for scholarships through the MGCC Educational Foundation. The scholarship application cycle for 2025 is now open and runs through Feb. 28. With over $140,000 in available funds each year, the Foundation awards scholarships ranging from $100 to $5,000, which can provide vital financial support to both incoming and current students.
Scholarships are available to high school seniors, adult learners, and current MGCC students. To apply, students must submit an online application and include additional materials as required. Applicants must also complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the upcoming academic year.
