The beauty of sports is the behind-the-scenes stories of courage and grit that athletes possess. In Berkshire County, three golfers, who each have tremendous journeys, were honored with the inaugural college scholarships by the Allied Association’s Berkshire County Golf Hall of Fame.
“When I first saw the congratulations message in my inbox from Diane Breene I was beyond ecstatic,” wrote Pittsfield’s Riley Laurent in an email interview with The Eagle.
