The event happens Saturday, September 13. 
(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – The Sons of the American Legion Post 239 in Lawrenceburg will host The Big Gun Show on Saturday, September 13.
The yearly gun show will feature a chance to win 40 different guns. The first prize will include an Iver Johnson IJ600, Citadel M1911 45, Chiappa M1-22 (must be present to win 22 cal. Golden Boy, buy back available).
Doors open at 3:00 p.m. and drawings will begin at 5:00.
A $100 donation gets you a ticket holder, food and the chance to win. A cash bar will open at 3:00 and all drinks will be $1 off.
Proceeds from the event go towards 10 scholarships of $1,000 each for Lawrenceburg High School students. Learn more by visiting (18) Facebook.
The American Legion Post 239 will be closed to the general public during this event.
Eight scholarships totaling $31,000.
College sophomores, recent college graduates, and graduate and law school students, are also encouraged to apply.
Lil Charlie's was founded in June of 1999.
Students are selected based on their achievements in multiple categories.
Youth 4-H leaders led the effort this summer.
