(Hi-Line) The Havre Elk’s Lodge recently awarded scholarships to those graduating from local high school districts.
Recipients included Izabelle Baker from Harlem High School, Dentin Depriest and Brockton Elliot from Chinook High School Colter Solomon and Callie Bebee from Havre High School, and Madelyn Myers from Northstar High School.
These six students all advanced to the Montana State Elk’s Association competition to become part of the 133 statewide applicants.
Ethan Stortz and Cadence Kallenberger, both of Havre High School, were also recipients of the “Mr. N” Scholarhship, which is presented in honor of Bob Nieuwenhuyse.
