METHUEN — Five college students from the Arlington neighborhood were given another reason to celebrate this holiday season — thanks to the legacy of a local librarian.
Rhaelyn Gutierrez, Jennysha Martinez, Jenny Nguyen, Darianna de la Cruz and Iverson Rodriguez were recently awarded the Sanguedolce Family Scholarship this year — an award which honors Rita Sanguedolce, a well-known and beloved Methuen educator. The award was announced by MAN Inc., a local nonprofit that helps students with education and other pursuits.
