The voice of the weekends on Lake98.1 has been named the recipient of one the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association Foundation’s four yearly scholarships.
BellaRain was named the recipient of the Howard Gernetzke Scholarship, named after the late weatherman who was on the air for over 44 years.
She will be awarded the scholarship at the WBA Student Forum on Saturday, February 22nd at Lambeau Field.
The WBA will also award the David L. and Rita E. Nelson Family Fund Scholarship, the David L. and Rita E. Nelson Family Fund Scholarship, and the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association Foundation Scholarship at the forum.
High school seniors are also encouraged to apply for one of six scholarships being offered by Iowa Student Loan.
The ISL Midwest Senior Scholarships are available to students throughout Wisconsin, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and South Dakota.
