Please send an email with the full text of your obituary to obits@times-standard.com. Text in the body of the email is best but we can take attached word and .txt documents as well–PDFs will not work. If you would like to include a photo, please attach it as a separate file from the text. Please specify the dates for the Obituary to run. We will send you a proof with cost for your final approval.

Members of the Rotary Club of Southwest Eureka attended a College of the Redwoods recognition of scholarship recipients at the Wharfinger Building last week.
President Elan Firpo, President Elect Bill Gillespie and Past President and Vocational Director Melinda Ciarabellini represented the club as it recognized two Southwest Eureka Rotary Nurses’ Scholarship Program recipients who will each receive $1,000 scholarships.
Holly Stolpe plans to graduate as a registered nurse in May and hopes to transition into a nursing role with Providence St. Joseph Hospital.
Amber Elewski-Baum also plans to work in the community after graduation.
The Rotary Club of Southwest Eureka Nurses’ Scholarship Program is part of its decades-long commitment to the support of education, students, health and well-being on the North Coast.
