Kimberly-Clark today announced the recipients of its 2024 Bright Futures Scholarships. In Paris, where Kimberly-Clark has a manufacturing facility, college scholarships were awarded to:
Established in 1993, the Bright Futures program is administered by the Kimberly-Clark Foundation and awards college scholarships worth up to $20,000, or $5,000 per school year, to children of Kimberly-Clark employees across North America. Recipients are selected based on their academic performance, extracurricular activities, work experience and community involvement.
“We are proud to present Mylee and Carsen with scholarships in recognition of their academic accomplishments and commitment to excellence,” said Eric Bryant, Plant Manager, Paris Manufacturing Facility. “We congratulate them for their hard work and wish them continued success.”
This year, Kimberly-Clark awarded Bright Futures scholarships to 47 students in the U.S. and Canada. Since its inception, the program has granted more than $47 million in scholarships to more than 2,300 students for full-time study at accredited colleges and universities.
The average GPA for this year’s Bright Futures scholarship class is 3.97. Awardees will attend leading colleges and universities, including Cornell University, the Georgia Institute of Technology and Stanford University. Past scholarship recipients have gone on to pursue successful careers in medicine, education, the armed forces, and engineering.
