Local students receive National Merit Scholarships – InMenlo

Local students were among those chosen to receive a $2,500 National Merit Scholarship. The were selected from a talent pool of more than 15,000 outstanding Finalists in the 2024 National Merit Scholarship Program. The students are:
-Menlo-Atherton High School students Ajax R. Fu and Sina S. Kassayan
-Menlo School students Jackson Deutch, Andrea Li, Eric Li-Len Feng, and Samuel Warman
-Sacred Heart Preparatory School student Noelle B. Mendoza
“National Merit $2500 Scholarship winners are the Finalists in each state judged to have the strongest combination of accomplishments, skills, and potential for success in rigorous college studies,” the organization announced. “The number of winners named in each state is proportional to the state’s percentage of the nation’s graduating high school seniors.”
