The Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1050 of London selected these students as their 2024 scholarship recipients from Laurel County.
The chapter has been in operation for eight years and has been doing the scholarship program for six years. Each year, members select students from North Laurel, South Laurel and Corbin high schools after reviewing a 500-word essay submitted by the students. The chapter sells advertisements in their calendars to provide funds for the scholarships.
