A Logansport High School graduate is among four Indiana University Kokomo freshmen to be awarded a Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship.
Valeria Cortes received a renewable scholarship of up to $10,000 per year, or up to $40,000 total, from the Indiana Commission for Higher Education (ICHE). Hannah Middlesworth of Converse was also a recipient, according to a press release from IU Kokomo.
