The Lynchburg Lions Club sponsors two $500 scholarships for selected high school students.
This funding is made possible by the club’s annual candy sale.
This year’s recipients are Ava Doughman and Addie Downing. Both recipients are 2025 graduates from Lynchburg-Clay High School. Both students have been active in numerous community service projects and they have also been very active in high school events.
The Lynchburg Lions Club congratulates Ava and Addie for their accomplishments and wishes them the best in the future.
Ava is the daughter of Brad and Chelsey Doughman, and Addie is the daughter of Derek and Hillary Downing.
