Lynn University's endowment growth during its strategic plan – Lynn University

Lynn University is experiencing a remarkable era of progress driven by the generosity of dedicated donors and strategic endowment investments. As of June 30, 2025, the university’s endowment grew by nearly $20 million between 2018 to 2024, rising from approximately $26.6 million to an estimated $45.6 million—a nearly 50% percent increase.
As donors take part in key roles to support contributions, the university continues to execute strategic practices that lead to strong investment returns.
“Lynn’s endowment plan reflects not only a sound investment practice but also the long-term strategy of the university’s board of trustees, whose vision has been central to the endowment’s sustained growth,” said Chief Strategy and Technology Officer Chris Boniforti.
In the most recent fiscal year (2024–25), Lynn added nine endowed scholarships, fueling a 10% increase in total endowments. This record-setting momentum brings Lynn’s total number of endowments to 92—of these, 70 directly support students through scholarships.
Lynn’s endowment growth reflects the power of meaningful relationships with its community and donors. This momentum is driven by the university’s advancement team, whose authentic and strategic engagement ensures that donor passions align with both Lynn’s immediate needs and its long-term vision.
These strong partnerships not only drive financial progress but also create lasting impact for students. “Our alumni and donors have demonstrated their unwavering commitment to Lynn. They are committed to enhancing the experience for students and believe in the university’s vision,” said Vice President for Enrollment and University Advancement Dr. Gareth P. Fowles. ” This trust in the university allows the Lynn community to cultivate rich academic, social and cultural environments for students from around the world.”
In this past year, over 220 students received financial support through annual or endowed scholarships. During the 2024–25 academic year, Lynn disbursed approximately $818,400 through endowed and annual scholarships. These funds helped open the door for many talented students to experience the student-focused education that defines Lynn.”
“Donors and stakeholders believe deeply in the university’s mission and potential to develop critically thinking students who can adapt their education into their professional careers,” said Director of Advancement Dr. Lisa A. Miller. “Their ongoing investments ensure that the university can continue offering practical and purpose-filled opportunities for our students.”
