Manitowoc Lincoln student makes National Merit Scholarship Program semifinals – Herald Times Reporter
MANITOWOC – A Manitowoc Lincoln High School student has been chosen as a semifinalist in the National Merit Scholarship Program.
Tor B. Seilheimer was one of more than 16,000 semifinalists in the program and will compete for one of the 6,930 National Merit Scholarships that will be offered in 2026.
According to a news release from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, 95% of the semifinalists are expected to attain finalist standing, and approximately half of the finalists will win a National Merit Scholarship and be given the Merit Scholar title.
