The Maple Grove Women of Today have announced it selected Jordan Ondrey as its 24th scholarship recipient. Jordan was selected from nine applications received this year by the scholarship committee.
Jordan attended the Maple Grove Women of Today’s June 16th meeting with her parents, Matt and Jill.
The group recognized Jordan and had her read her essay on community service to the team. She highlighted her work with Special Olympics, the Unified Program and as a teaching assistant for medical classes at Osseo Senior High.
Jordan received the $2,000 scholarship to use in her continuing education at the University of Minnesota, majoring in biology.
