On Saturday, May 24, eight scholarships were presented at the annual Martinsburg High School Alumni Association banquet. Standing from left are Principal Trent Sherman, Max Cunningham (Hattie W. Snyder Memorial Scholarship), Thomas “RJ” Brown (John P. Lynch, Sr., Memorial Scholarship), Nathanial Willard (Outstanding Boy Alumni Merit Award), Vaylee Olack (Elizabeth Brindle Memorial Scholarship), Olivia Lewis (William Nelson Dunn, Jr., Memorial Scholarship), Emily Willer (Outstanding Girl Alumni Merit Award), and Taylor Strack (MHS Alumni Association Scholarship). Rena Mullenax was missing from the photo but was also awarded the William Nelson Dunn, Jr., Memorial Scholarship during the Senior Awards Ceremony.
The board encourages Martinsburg High School Alumni to mail $10 yearly dues and/or donations to the scholarship fund to: Martinsburg High School Alumni Association, ATTN: Treasurer, P.O. Box 3007, Martinsburg, WV 25402. Please include your graduation year. Due to the high cost of postage, yearly mailings will no longer be done.
