Two Tri-Town high school seniors will soon be awarded with the $2,000 Peter B. Hodges Memorial Scholarship from the Mattapoisett Lions Club.
In addition, the Mattapoisett Lions Club announced that one $1,000 scholarship will be presented to a high school senior entering a trade or attending an accredited trade school.
The funds for the Peter B. Hodges Memorial Scholarships are made possible with fundraisers held by the Mattapoisett Lions Club throughout the year, including Harbor Days, according to the club.

Award applications are also available at the guidance department of high schools.
The scholarships are also open to homeschooled students and school choice students attending Old Rochester Regional High School.
