The OIA supported applications for Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program (ELAP), Canada-ASEAN Scholarships and Educational Exchanges for Development (SEED) and Study in Canada Scholarships short-term scholarship programs in collaboration with Student Success Centre and School of Graduate Studies. These programs help McMaster faculty expand global networks, support McMaster’s international goals, foster lasting research collaborations, and diversify our classrooms. As an outcome of our collaborative efforts, we received a significant increase in applications and awards for 2025-2026 for students and faculty members. Â
Results were announced in June 2025, and McMaster will host ten applicants under each short-term scholarship as follows:
We look forward to hosting these international students and supporting their academic and cultural exchange experiences in Canada.
