McPherson County Community Foundation Scholarship Process Opens Nov. 15 – Ad Astra Radio
MCPHERSON, KAN. — The McPherson County Community Foundation (MCCF) regular and adult learning scholarship application processes will officially open on Nov. 15, 2025. Requirements of scholarships will vary, but applications will be accepted from all graduating students or adult learners in McPherson County. The final date for applicants to submit will be Feb. 15 of 2026
Applicants will apply through a portal accessible from the Foundation’s webpage under university/college scholarships. A general application will test the student’s eligibility based on the requirements of each scholarship, with most scholarships have different requirements such as graduating high school, GPA and potential career field. The system will then notify the students of what they are eligible to apply for.
Students can apply for as many scholarships as they are eligible for, however, they may only receive one scholarship from the Foundation. It is the Foundation’s policy to award the highest total value scholarship won.
Last year over $41,000 in financial aid was released to students from 29 total scholarship funds.
“We see scholarships as an equalizing gift to the youth from our community.” Michelle Huddle, MCCF CEO, said, “This gift gives our youth a chance to develop their skills and while some may not return back to the community, the ones that do will be a part of the investment made into McPherson County.”
