BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- The Med Center Health Foundation has awarded nearly $50,000 in scholarships for the 2024-25 academic year. Each student has received a minimum of $2,100, however, several scholarships include full tuition and a book allowance.
Executive director of the Med Center Health Foundation, Amy Hardin, says, “I think with Med Center being the health care leader in this region, that’s it’s important for us to let the future of healthcare professionals know that we’re here to support them in their journey and that starts with scholarship support.”
The scholarships are in memory or honor of Med Center loved ones, and benefit dependents of current Med Center Health employees, underrepresented populations, and future healthcare professionals.
Clinical research associate at Med Center Health and health administration student at Western Kentucky University, Hallie Cassady, is a recipient of the Charles M. Stewart Scholarship.
She says, “Med Center Health has given to me in more ways than I can imagine, and so by applying to that scholarship and receiving it, I want to be able to repay it back to them by continuing my career at Med Center Health.”
