In remembrance of Levi W. Jewell

With each passing, especially that of a loved one, life changes. This day is just as difficult if not more than a year ago when your presence here on earth was abruptly taken away.
As we remember your firsts, your accomplishments, and your lasts, we hold all those memories close in our hearts and souls. The first anniversary of the loss of a child at any age is not a first that a parent, family, and friends should have to remember. There are so many firsts and lasts that we can never share with you. We didn’t get to say “goodbye”, but we did say that we love you in our last conversations with you – because that’s how all our phone conversations ended. We will let your memories fill the hole in our hearts, until the day that we also part. And so we carry on, the hole will never heal and yet we try to get use to it.
The Levi W. Jewell Memorial scholarship has been established in honor of Levi’s life, accomplishments, and memory, at the Foster CTE Center.
The scholarship will be awarded each year to a deserving student who is interested in pursuing a career in metal fabrication.
