MEREDITH —  The first formal Meredith/Inter-Lakes Alumni Association meeting was in 1925, the Alumni Loyalty Cup was first awarded in 1928, and annual scholarships have been awarded since 1965. The board commitment involves maintaining the record of awards each year, a local database, graduate lists for annual reunions and preserving the connection between members and to our history.
This year the board is working to attain self-sustaining status for all three scholarships.  In the near term, members are seeking donations totaling $40,000 to support the Marjorie Lee Scholarship to recognize Lee’s long-time dedication and support as a teacher, mentor and friend to all alumni.
The board has already received donations from alumni totaling over $10,000 for its scholarship funding campaign, but needs additional alumni and friends to provide financial support to reach its campaign funding goals.
Send donations to MILAA, PO Box 1076, Meredith NH, 03253, and note the donation to be used for the Miss Lee Scholarship.
