MetroWest Chamber of Commerce Honors Seven Framingham Residents with Scholarships
Wellesley, Mass. (June 5, 2025) – The MetroWest Chamber of Commerce presented scholarships to seven impressive Keefe Tech High School graduates at an annual Awards ceremony on the campus of MassBay Community College on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.
“The MetroWest Chamber of Commerce is proud to honor these accomplished scholars,” said Jeremy Solomon, the Chamber’s Vice Chair for Membership – Education. “Each of these young leaders have distinguished themselves in the classroom, have overcome adversity in their lives, and have been role models in their communities. We are certain achievements, accolades, and impact will follow each of them as they pursue their post-secondary educational goals. Congratulations to our honorees.”
The awards and honorees are:
Arcadius, Emma & Robert Lemieux Scholarships are presented to students in any area of concentration who have distinguished themselves academically and have demonstrated a unique ability to overcome personal challenge or hardship. Each recipient receives $1,000.
ANNA ALMEIDA, who will attend Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in the fall.
YARALISE ALVAREZ, who will attend Simmons University in the fall.
SAFIR BROWN, who will attend Drexel University in the fall.
DAFNE REYES, who will attend UMass Amherst in the fall.
GENESIS DOMINQUEZ RIVAS, who will attend Rochester Institute of Technology in the fall.
The MetroWest Chamber Inclusion Scholarship was established to assist public or private high school seniors who actively volunteer in their community at a MetroWest non-profit or charitable organization and wish to continue their education beyond high school, whether in college, vocational or technical schools. The recipient will receive $1,000.
ASHTON GRAHAM, who will attend UMass Amherst in the fall.
MetroWest Chamber of Commerce STEM Scholarships are presented to two students who have achieved academic excellence in the fields of science, technology, engineering or math (STEM), who intend to pursue a major in the STEM field in college. Recipients receive $1,000.
STEFFANIE FERNANDES, who will attend Regis College in the fall.
