The Perham-based chapter also recently donated funds to area nursing homes. Commander Roger Bahls expressed gratitude for the generosity of donors.
“We would like to thank all the generous people who donated to our cause, especially Midwest Minnesota Community Development, which contributed $1,000,” Bahls said. “Through our fundraising efforts, we have been able to support a variety of community projects and initiatives across Wadena, Perham, Detroit Lakes, Frazee and Henning.”
