The Ministry of Education and Science has announced competitions for scholarships for pupils and students for the school and academic year 2025/2026. The largest number of scholarships is dedicated to supporting students enrolled in dual majors in secondary vocational education – 1570 scholarships. For students in vocational schools following three-year programs, 150 scholarships are provided, the MoH announcement states.
“The Ministry of Education and Science will also award 300 scholarships to high school students enrolled in curricula in the fields of: hospitality and tourism, forestry and wood processing, construction and geodesy, agriculture-fishery and veterinary medicine, machinery, textiles and leather, while 180 scholarships will support students with special needs and 50 for students – children without parents.
150 scholarships have been dedicated to talented students, as well as to talented student athletes, while talented secondary education students in the field of arts can apply for 50 scholarships.
The Ministry of Education and Science will also allocate 900 social support scholarships for public high school students, as well as 1200 scholarships for Roma students enrolled in public and private high schools.
Students can also apply for different scholarship categories.
“1.470 scholarships have been provided for students from the social category. For students who have achieved high success during their studies, from the scientific fields of mathematical-natural sciences, technical-technological, biotechnical, medical, social and humanitarian sciences, 770 scholarships have been provided, while for computer science students, 85 scholarships have been provided separately,” the Ministry of Health says./Telegraph/
