MOHAVE COUNTY, July 2025 – Mohave Community College is pleased to announce the Adult Learner Restart Scholarship, a $500 financial award dedicated to helping adult students overcome common barriers to accessing higher education. The scholarship is designed specifically for adult learners who are either returning to college after a gap of one year or more or starting college for the first time. This initiative aligns with the College’s ongoing commitment to improving lives and communities by expanding educational access to non-traditional students, following its rebranding to Mohave College beginning August 2025.
The scholarship aims to alleviate challenges that often impede higher education pursuits, such as securing a laptop, managing childcare expenses, or obtaining reliable transportation, thereby enabling students to concentrate on their academic and career objectives.
Key Dates:
• Application Period: July 1 – August 1, 2025
• Recipient Notification Date: August 11, 2025
Eligibility Requirements:
• Must be 25 years of age or older
• Must be returning to college after a gap of at least one year OR starting college for the first time
• Must be enrolled at Mohave Community College for the upcoming semester

Mohave Community College offers a wide range of degree and certificate options across Academic, Healthcare, and Career & Technical Education programs. Prospective students and interested community members can explore available programs at www.Mohave.edu/Degrees. With the fall semester set to begin on August 18, individuals looking to become students are encouraged to visit Mohave.edu/Admission. By filling out the online form to create a student account, a College representative will assist with the application, tuition assistance, and enrollment process.
