Monroe Chamber presents scholarships, business beautification awards – The Monroe Sun

MONROE, CT — The Monroe Chamber of Commerce elected its board, presented two scholarships to deserving Masuk High School graduates and beautification awards to local businesses at its annual dinner at Jennie’s Pizzeria.
Emma Smeraglino and Antonio Campos were awarded scholarships. Smeraglino will attend the College of Charleston while pursuing a career as a physical therapist and Campos will study to be a veterinarian at a school in Michigan.

The Monroe Chamber of Commerce elected its board of directors, which includes Ray Giovanni as president, Jan Snyder as vice president, Lee Hossler as ambassador, Treasurer Janice M. Butler, CPA, and Secretary Joanne Almonte.
Other members include Ron Bellenot, Esq., Audra Santos, Gaetano Marra, David Fraga, Bruce Minoff, Wendy Grasso, Jim Weinberg, Previn Patel and Danielle Rownin.
