Montgomery College has announced a $1,000 “Raptor Ready” scholarship for up to 1,000 eligible Montgomery County high school graduates who enroll in at least six credit hours or select workforce programs for fall 2025, with applications due by August 1.

Per Montgomery College: “Montgomery College (MC) is providing a $1,000 tuition scholarship to Montgomery County residents who are spring 2025 graduates from a Montgomery County high school and register for and attend six credit hours in the fall 2025 semester at Montgomery College or fall courses in one of the selected WDCE programs. The $1,000 “Raptor Ready” Scholarship may only be applied to fall 2025 tuition and fees, and the application MUST be completed by August 1, 2025. The first 1,000 eligible applicants will be considered for the scholarship with all others added to a waitlist.
