Morgan Academy had one of their football all-stars earn a college scholarship during the AISA All-Star Football Game at the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery Dec. 4.
Walter Gilmore was the recipient of the AISA West All-Star Scholarship. Gilmore is a 5-foot, six-inch running back and wide receiver who played for the Senators this season. 
Three other Senators were selected for the AISA All-Star Game. They were Jack Johnson, 5-11, 170 pounds playing wide receiver and running back; Ben Duran, 5-9, 220 pounds playing offensive and defensive lineman; and Jake Sims, 6-0, 250 pounds playing offensive and defensive lineman.
Head coach Jacob Webb was also selected as one of the coaches for the West squad.
Making the West cheerleading squad was Morgan Academy’s Maryn Bergeron.
Alyssa McCloud and Kenlynn Lawrence of Meadowview Christian Academy also made the West AISA cheerleading squad.
