University of Mount Union has created a partnership with Say Yes Cleveland that will offer scholarships to eligible students and help ensure their college dreams are within reach.
Mount Union will have five scholarships available to first-year undergraduate students attending a Say Yes-eligible Cleveland school. The scholarships will meet the cost of tuition and technology fees for up to eight semesters.
To be eligible, students must reside in Cleveland, be continuously enrolled in a Cleveland Metropolitan Schools District or partnering charter high school from ninth grade through graduation from high school and have an annual family income of lower than $75,000.
“Say Yes Cleveland’s mission of helping make a college degree or career training more affordable aligns perfectly with our ‘Students First’ strategic plan,” said Caitlin Clark, vice president for enrollment services at Mount Union. “We are excited to partner with such a great organization to help bridge the financial gap for families and make a college degree more accessible.”
To apply for the scholarship, students must be admitted to Mount Union and complete the FAFSA form at studentaid.gov.
