NAPPANEE ā The Nappanee Conservation Club awarded its annual Dr. Walter Anglemeyer scholarships to two recently graduated NorthWood High School students. The $2,500 awards were given to Kathleen Cummings and Brianna Lechlitner during the club’sĀ Walter C. Anglemeyer Shooting Classic, held Saturday, July 12.
āThis scholarship was started in the name of Dr. Walter C. Anglemeyer to further the education of students pursuing studies in the field of conservation,ā said Wally Anglemeyer, Dr. Anglemeyerās son. āThe goal is to award twoĀ  $2,500 scholarships yearly to deserving local students.ā
