LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — UNLV's journalism school recognized two important groups with permanent installations on Thursday.
The Greenspun College of Urban Affairs unveiled donor plaques for the Nevada Broadcasters Association and Foundation, and the Tony and Linda Bonnici Scholarship Fund.
The Nevada Broadcasters Foundation has awarded nearly 300 scholarships to students who attend colleges and universities in the Silver State through the Bonnici Scholarship Fund.
Students can also receive mentorship, internships and job placement assistance.
The Bonnicis are both retired broadcasters who spent over four decades in the industry.
