This year includes two new scholarships from Shamrock Farms valued at $2,500 apiece and a $2,500 award to honor Bill Sumas, a longtime NJFC chair and grocery industry veteran who lost his battle with cancer last summer.

According to NJFC, recipients are selected based on academic and special qualifications, as well as civic and local leadership activities.
