NEW KENSINGTON, Pa. — Michael Coyne, a student in the biomedical engineering technology program at Penn State New Kensington, has been awarded a scholarship through the AAMI Foundation Michael J. Miller Scholarship Program.
Coyne, a software engineer making a career shift into healthcare technology management, was selected for his demonstrated commitment to improving patient care through the development and use of medical devices.
“I am honored to receive this scholarship from the AAMI Foundation, which not only validates my commitment to excellence, but also inspires me to continue striving for success,” Coyne said. “This award empowers me to pursue my academic and professional goals with renewed determination, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the AAMI community.”
The scholarship, awarded by the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) and the AAMI Foundation, supports students and young professionals pursuing careers in the medical device and healthcare technology fields.
