NEWBURYPORT — The Newburyport Horticulture Society awarded three scholarships to graduating high school students who are planning a college major in a field that benefits the environment.
A $2,500 scholarship was awarded to Hannah Mae Barter of Rowley and also Colleen Kielbania of Ipswich. Both are recent graduates of Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical High School.
