Twelve Clark County School District (CCSD) students were matched with top-tier colleges and universities through the QuestBridge National College Match, with all tuition and expenses paid.
These students have earned full four-year scholarships, valued at more than $200,000, that cover tuition, housing, books, supplies and travel expenses. With this assistance, these students may pursue desired careers in politics, forensic psychology, computer programming and more. The scholarship alleviates the financial burden students and families experience when it comes to funding for college.
The scholarship recipients have an average unweighted GPA of 3.94 percent and 93 percent are in the top percent of their graduating class. This year, the majority of scholarship recipients will be part of their family’s first generation to attend a four-year college in the U.S. More than 90 percent have demonstrated financial need based on household income.

“This match has been the biggest relief related to paying for college since I come from a first-generation family. My family lives in a studio apartment – now they won’t have to worry about funding my college or taking out loans. I now have hope that I will be able to succeed and go further in life without worrying about money,” said Devin, an aspiring politician.
The life-changing award allows Angelica to be able to have an “amazing learning and life experience in another state.”
