“It is amazing for these young adults who are so excited about careers in broadcasting,” said Tracey Caruso, executive director of the NHAB. “They understand the importance of it. They also understand the importance of local community and what’s happening, and want to continue it. We are just very excited to have our young scholars winning today.”
Finn Roach, one of the scholarship recipient, said he discovered his passion through his parents, including WMUR anchor Erin Fehlau.
“The ability to communicate to people through the television and media, it’s just, I think it’s something special and never going away and something the world needs,” Roach said.
Congratulations to all the winners!
