RHINELANDER, Wis. – Students attending Nicolet College were recently awarded scholarships from the Nicolet College Foundation.
The Foundation awarded 242 scholarships, totaling $240,000 for the 2024-25 academic year.
“My gratitude extends beyond just the financial aspect but also for the community support,” said Lena Symonds, Nicolet College Nursing Student and 2023-24 Foundation Student Ambassador.
Many of the scholarship donations were received during “A Day for Nicolet,” the Foundation’s largest fundraising campaign of the year, which is held each fall.
Any Nicolet College student enrolled in at least three credits per term and with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 can apply for scholarships. Scholarship funds can be used for tuition and books.
The next scholarship application period will be in September.
