NISSWA — The Nisswa Lions gave nine scholarships to students moving on to two- and four-year colleges and three scholarships to students going into a vocational technical/trade program.
Scholarships totaled $24,000.
The following students will receive a $2,000 scholarship from the Nisswa Lions:
The Nisswa Lions Club received 29 scholarship applications from Brainerd High School, Crosslake Community School, Lake Region Christian School in Baxter, Pequot Lakes High School and home schooled or other online academy students.
