To be considered for the NMMS Assam Scholarship, interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria must complete and submit their applications online via the official NMMS Assam Scholarship Portal. The following are the necessary steps that applicants must adhere to in order to successfully apply for the scholarship.
Candidates are required to submit an examination fee as part of their online application process. The fee amount may vary depending on the candidate's reservation category. Applicants must have the following documents readily available before starting the online application process. All documents must be scanned and saved in the correct file format to be accepted by the portal.
The Directorate of Secondary Education, Assam, will release the NMMS admit card on November 5, 2025. Students can download their NMMS exam admit card online from the 'Bidyarthi' Android App or via the official website, madhyamik.assam.gov.in. They need to use their login credentials to get the NMMS 2025-26 admit card. Students must carry the NMMS Assam admit card 2025-26 to the examination centre, as without it, they will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
NMMS Assam has two papers: Mental Ability Test (MAT) and the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). The students are required to achieve a minimum of 40% aggregate marks on both the MAT and SAT exams in order to pass. This requirement applies to all students, with a reduced percentage of 32% for those belonging to SC/ST communities.
