Those who participated in the “National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme” exam can now check their results here. The officials have released the NMMS Scholarship Entrance Result for the current year. Students can visit the official website to check the results. They must select their city and enter their roll number to view the NMMS Merit List. Aspirants can also view the NMMS Cut Off Marks to check the qualifying score for admissions.
The government-backed initiative, known as the “National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMS),” aims to provide financial aid through scholarships to academically outstanding students from financially challenged backgrounds. The primary goal is to prevent these students from discontinuing their education after the eighth grade by motivating them to pursue their studies at the secondary level. The scholarship provides an annual financial support of Rs 12000 (equivalent to Rs 1000 monthly) to each selected candidate. This support continues from the ninth to the twelfth grade for students enrolled in state-run, government-funded, and locally governed schools.

For students to be considered eligible for the NMMS scholarship, they must have participated in the selection examination. Following this, each State announces the names of students who have successfully passed the Mental Ability Test (MAT) and the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) by achieving a minimum of 40% in both exams. Below are the criteria used to compile the final selection of students for NMMS.
Candidates must meet all the specified conditions to be eligible for the NMMS benefits.
