The Scholarship for Indonesian Girls (BESTARI) is a program from the Khouw Kalbe Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection (KemenPPPA) and UNFPA Indonesia. Its goal is to help girls access higher education while protecting them from the risk of child marriage.
With educational funding of up to IDR 10 million per semester, this program provides opportunities for young women to pursue their education without financial barriers.
