Northwest High School Alumni Committee awards five scholarships
The Northwest High School Alumni Committee presented Northwest High School Alumni Educational Scholarships to five local seniors. Chairwoman A. Faye Young, pictured center, presented the scholarships to Jazmin Ortega-Mendez, left, who will attend Halifax Community College; Ailey Davis, who will attend HCC; Sean Hunter, who will attend Louisburg College; and Daniela Satur, who will attend UNC Asheville. Not pictured: Lamonte Reese, who will attend HCC. The committee would like to congratulate these students and wish them all the best for the future.
