It’s been fairly quiet with Notre Dame football and sending out offers, but that changed on Sunday morning.
The Irish went back to the alumni well, as they offered 2027 Pennsylvania offensive tackle James Halter, son of former Notre Dame lineman Jordan. The younger Halter has been to South Bend multiple times, but this one was will stand out more than the rest.
Although the 6-foot, 6-inch and 270-pounder isn’t currently ranked, with over 15 current offers, that is bound to change in the future. You have to believe that with the family connections, the Irish are near the top of Halter’s list, even with some other impressive offers.
Notre Dame has had a lot of recent success with recruiting legacy’s along with sons of former NFL players. This could be another case of that, as we will continue to monitor Halter’s recruitment.
