North Sand Mountain High School 2025 graduate Lily McBryar signed to attend the University of Alabama during the annual CTE Signing Day at the Kevin Dukes Career and Innovation Academy.Ā  She plans to pursue a career as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.Ā  Supporting Lily at her signing where she received several scholarships were her parents, Dawn and Kyle McBryar, KDCIA Principal Drew McNutt, and KDCIA Health Science Instructors Amanda Akins and Sheena Webber.

Lily McBryar, a 2025 graduate of North Sand Mountain High School signed with the University of Alabama during the annual CTE Signing Day at the Kevin Dukes Career and Innovation Academy.Ā  She will be pursing a career in the medical field.
Ā  This top student has been awarded the Alabama Prestige Scholarship in the amount of $55,220 and the R. Larry Ward Bama Alumni $1,000 scholarship.Ā  She also earned a $1,000 scholarship from Alabama Girls State and the Jackson County Bama $100 grant.
Ā  During her high school years, Lily was also enrolled in the Health Science Department at the KDCIA where she was active in HOSA Future Health Professionals.Ā  She earned her BLS, CPR, PCT, and EKG certifications.Ā 
Ā  Lily participated in SkillsUSA competitions and was the Chapter Display State Gold Medalist, Chapter Display National Bronze Medalist, and Health Occupations Professional Portfolio State Silver Medalist. Ā 
Ā  Lily was also a member of the Beta Club.Ā  This year she captured first place at the National Beta Convention in Biomedical Health Sciences 12th Grade.
Ā  This busy young lady was also a Bison cheerleader.Ā  She served as captain last year.Ā  She also was selected to represent her school at Alabama Girls State.
Ā  Lily is the daughter of Dawn and Kyle McBryar.Ā  She has two older brothers, Cody and Cade.
Ā  Lily will be attending the University of Alabama this fall.Ā  She will be participating in the nursing program to pursue a career as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
