ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) – Odessa College will host the 2025 Odessa College Car Show to help benefit student scholarships.
The event will be on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Sewell Auto Tech facility, located at 2425 E. 8th St.
The annual event will feature a wide variety of vehicles, including classic cars, modern muscle, lowriders, imports, SUVs and trucks.
Awards will be presented for first and second place in each category, along with several “Best Of” honors.
All proceeds from the car show will benefit the Elijah Barrera Memorial Scholarship, which supports students enrolled in Odessa College’s Auto Diesel and Automotive Technology programs.
“This event not only celebrates the passion of car enthusiasts in our community, but also helps us invest in the future of our students,” said Dr. Tramaine Anderson-Silvas, vice president for instruction. “We are proud that the Car Show has become both a family-friendly tradition and a way to make higher education more accessible.”
The entry fee is $35 per vehicle, and pre-registration is available online. Admission is free and open to the public.
Car enthusiasts, families and community members are encouraged to attend for a day filled with unique vehicles, music, food and fellowship.
Representatives from Odessa College, community partners, and other organizations including the Odessa Fire and Rescue Department will be available to speak with attendees about career opportunities and resources for students and graduates.
