The Odem-Edroy ISD Ex-Students Association recently awarded its annual scholarship(s) to graduating seniors at Odem High School. Two thousand dollars was awarded to each student. This year’s recipients are Luke Aviles, who will be attending Del Mar College to study computer science; Isabella Flores, who will be attending Del Mar College to study nursing; and Jaelynn Garcia, who will be attending Del Mar College to study elementary education.
The scholarship program is funded by the OEISD Ex-Students Association Annual Homecoming Scholarship Tournament’s sponsors and players. The tournament for 2024 is scheduled to be held on Saturday, Nov. 2, at the Sinton Municipal Golf Course.
